My professional life is extremely important to me. As a real estate agent for 14 years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping people fulfill their dreams. While, I love my job, and couldn’t imagine doing anything else, I value family more than anything. My husband Mike and I have been married since 2004, we have 4 beautiful children — 3 girls and a boy, and yes we are done! I’m also the youngest of 5 children — clearly I like a big family!
I grew up in a blue-collar area in Northeast Philadelphia. Hard work was instilled in me from my parents since the day I was born. My dad is a retired Philadelphia Police Lieutenant as well as school district police officer, and my mom spent 40 years as a Preschool teacher.
I have always loved to work. At the age of four, I would follow my brothers around while they delivered the local newspaper. Meanwhile, during the summer, I would tag along with my brothers as they sold newspapers outside of Wildwood Catholic High School. We spent our nights on the boardwalk in Wildwood — this is when my entrepreneurial dreams began as I listened to the French speaking Canadian vacationers and business owners. I even enrolled in French in high school because I had visions of owning my own business on the boardwalk.
During summers in college I worked for a Title Insurance Company in Philadelphia, which exposed me to Real Estate. Little did I know at that time, that I was being exposed to my professional passion. After graduating from Penn State University I worked at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, which me offered a great work experience, but it was never something I became passionate about — there was a professional void that needed to be filled.
Following my time at the DA’s office, I decided to fill that void by going back to work at the Title Insurance company, which is where I eventually obtained my license to sell real estate — I haven’t looked back since. While I didn’t know it at the time, my experience in Title Insurance would end up helping me differentiate myself from other realtors as it has helped me become even stronger when it comes to the sale. In my 14 years in real estate, I am proud to say I have closed over 200 houses and my business is still growing.
I can’t say this enough… I credit my parents with instilling a strong work ethic in me at an early age, which I wouldn’t change it for the world. Their hard working attitude is what got me to where I am today — a top realtor in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs.
I’ve been asked how I maintain such an active professional career in real estate, while also being a mother of 4, and wife…
I have an unmatched work ethic, along with a network of help between my family, parents, and in-laws. I grew up in Northeast Philly, we have lived in Abington since 2005 and l love every minute of it.
